IMA Somari, compact swimbait with a slaloming attitude

We already find it difficult to think about how we approached saltwater lure fishing about ten years ago, they seem to be different geological eras, separated by the continents drift and the extinction of dinosaurs. The IMA Somari is one of those lures that a bunch seasons ago few imagined and less used successfully. However, now, when looking at its movement in the video that we have put at the end of the page, it seems to us the most normal thing in the world, or even the most natural thing in the world, it simply moves like a fish.

We would simply like to focus the attention on small details, for the rest we leave the word to the images of the video, which seems very well done and explanatory. The weight of this lure is already quite high, but, if this was not enough, we can appreciate that the IMA Somari does not have any type of aerodynamic brake which makes us think that it will very much likely cast to nowhere land. However, it does not sink like a stone, but it can be retrieved with surprising lightness, and allows varied tricks, even breaking the surface, like a delirious stickbait.

Like many of the toys that we usually use for sea bass fishing, the IMA Somari leaves ample space for creativity, either from the beach or a cliff. It turns out to be a lure very easy to use, we would say almost instinctive, an artificial bait that really swims, and in that sinuous way, that convinces. We like it and enjoy recommending it for all the curious for whom fishing is a lifestyle.
